| The clock of eternity describes a movement
of slow descent as entropy sets in. It is said that the soul,
moved by time and successive births gradually began to use up
its energy. The world kept moving away from the highest stage
experienced in the first age.
Still, the Silver Age was a time of fruition. Thoughts were
expressions of harmony in lifetimes of great beauty. This
is why 'three quarters' - treta - of the moonlight were still
to be seen.
It was the rule of the Moon Dynasty whose memorials are depicted
in most Indian arts.
